Papikondalu is also known as Papi hills which are situated in the holy river Godavari in Andhra Pradesh. As everyone knows that the holy river Godavari was born in Nasik (Gomukh, Maharastra), there it is passing through so many states. finally, it is ending up in Andhra Pradesh. Papikokndalu is a famous tourist attraction in Andhra Pradesh that is going to "extinct" shortly, due to a well-known dam namely the "Polvaram project "which is under construction. after the construction of the dam, there are about 250 small villages that will be drowned.
